Saving time when you are a perfectionist.

If I was to give one piece of advice to those planning a wedding, it would be one word. Delegate!

Type A personalities, I can feel you cringe! But listen up – it doesn’t have to be everything!

First up - Look for the vendors who do it all – look at what they offer in their more inclusive packages because it could end up saving you a heap of time and money! They are the experts after all and have the resources so you will know it will be done right!

Small tasks add up, and you don’t want to be doing everything the week of your wedding! Write a list of everything that needs to be done early and delegate to family members or friends leading up to your wedding. Delegating small tasks you don’t need so much input on such as collecting rsvp’s, taking your wedding signage, stationery and hire items to your venue can save you a lot of time and running about!

And saving the best for last – hire a wedding stylist and/or planner! They are seriously worth their weight in gold! Their job is to follow your wishes and where you are happy to compromise or not! They will keep you ahead of the planning timeline, know all the right people, have experience in fixing issues before they even become that and best of all, they can save you some money because they are connected with some of the best in the biz!

Did I leave any tips out? Let me know!
